hi to all dear friends ,
please i want to buy the complete video system from http://www.futurehobbies.com/items_detail.asp?id=1&item=126

    (PAL) 12V, 1000MW + 8 db patch antenna ...HIGH RESOLUTION HEADSET (FH-545BK)
The 520-Line Sony CDD camera inside in this system is compatible with 640x480 HIGH RESOLUTION HEADSET (FH-545BK)?
the out resolution of 520-Line Sony CDD is supported from HMD FH 545BK 640x480????
    sorry for my BIG ignorance!!!

this system is very good for long distance range??!!

or your experience council me 5v system:
    http://www.futurehobbies.com/items_detail.asp?id=1&item=128

my doubt is the weight of first system 1000mW-12 V. perhaps you advised this also for its smaller weight?

for mine first flight I wanted to put the system video within mine robbe easy go with motor hacker brushless in order to fly with a greater weight...but in the future i want fly with OSD-GPS system (progr. multi way point etc)...

Thank you for all your reply
    Regards

    thank you dear friend ,

    1000 mW-12V, 2,4ghz Onboard system weight: 5.4 oz
    500 mW-5V, 2,4ghz Onboard system weight: 3.8 oz

you know to convert oz in grams??? i not! :(

for 1000mW system the 8 db patch antenna is better than 14db???
    why?!

    thank you again for reply!

    1 (oz) = 28 gramos (g)

    1000 mW-12V, 2,4ghz Onboard system weight: 5.4 oz = 151 gr
    500 mW-5V, 2,4ghz Onboard system weight: 3.8 oz = 106.4 gr

usually people use the 1 watt transmitter,
some people think that 500mw is much more than enought

remember that... if you get the 500 mw - 900 mhz transmitter you can get a better range than the 500 mw - 2,4 ghz

500 mw 900 mhz + 8 dbi antenna, is the better option in my opinion for standar planes size.

    good luck,

with the 14 dbi antena you get a better range,

with the 8 dbi antenna you get less range, but 8dbi got about 70º to point the target,

with the 14 dbi you got just 30º to point the target,

more dbi means antenna is more directional.

unless you can point the plane accuratly better get the 8 dbi (i think...)

    Hi Massimo,

i´d go for the 500mw system, no doubt

Don´t know what plane are you going to use to fly fpv, but if it´s going to be a small one 45g (1,6oz) is a difference for a small plane that already have more weight than usual. And I don´t think you need 1000mw, 500mw is very good power, I fly with 200mw.

I have the camera from the 500mw system (kx131) and you´d need 800x600 googles to notice the resolution improvement of the sony camera, even to see the real resolution of the kx131 you´d need a better googles than 640x480, but they are too expensive :( and 640x480 is good enough.
